Moving into a new home

My cousin will be moving to Cape Town this coming January so I gave him some tips on moving to a new place. In moving to a new home there are certainly a lot of things to consider. You should think not only about yourself but also the ones who will be living with you. You should consider its distance from your office, how accessible is the place? Is it near malls and groceries? If in case, somebody gets sick and will be needing medical attention, would you be able to bring them to any nearby hospitals? If you are living with your brothers, sister, and kids who are studying, how far will they travel from your home to their school or university?
Once you have relocated, you should also be prepared and you should know a lot of stuff regarding your new place. You should know what number to call just in case you would need help from the police and the number of hospitals within your area. You should also always keep supplies such as toiletries, groceries and handy tools just in case of emergencies, acts of God and disasters.
